| 2008 - NO LONGER SILENT! by Carol Morris
I am calling all women in America to attention. The year 2008 could be the year that women decide the future direction of our nation. Won't you join me in a noble pursuit that will recognize and present women of integrity and moral character to our society.
There is an untapped resource in our nation that has been silent far too long. It's the women in the middle. The influence of the women's liberation movement has dictated the lifestyle trends for women in our nation long enough. It's time the women in the middle stand-up and be counted.
We must ask ourselves, "What kind of a legacy do we want to leave for future generations? "
We must : · identify women of integrity · identify women with strong principles · recognize their core values · evaluate their agenda – are they people centered? (our nation) · discern their hidden agenda – self-centered · perceive whether they are genuine or a counterfeit · determine their qualifications by how they've conducted their lives · determine if they are proud or ashamed to be a woman · recognize whether or not they have compromised their womanly qualities
Our nation is being massaged into accepting a woman candidate for the Presidency. We must be informed as to how a real woman conducts herself. She should be strong without becoming hard, defined without being rigid, and feminine without being perceived as weak.
The goal is to mobilize this sleeping giant. The women in the middle will identify the leadership qualities of integrity, strong foundational core values, moral character, honesty, and a heart to serve. They can make their voice heard by standing-up and being counted.
Our young women need to know what a privilege it is to be a woman. Throw away the overalls and t-shirts and return to a womanly presentation. The liberal feminists will no longer dictate how women are perceived.
